Entry #1 What I Think of Blogs

When I first started the blog assignment back in English 101 I hated the idea of having to write my own blog. By the end of the class I came to really enjoy the assignment and everything it incorporated. While I will never write a blog outside of the class I did come to appreciate them.

One blog I really enjoyed was Armed and Safe. I really enjoyed it because I shared many of the same views as the author. Some other things I enjoyed was the fact that is was personal enough to keep me interested and engaged but it was also professional enough to make it seem the author knew what he was talking about.

Meet the Allens was another blog I have read both for English 101 and 102. To be truthful I didn't care very much about the blog because of several reasons. The first reason why I didn't like it was because it was very personal but only towards people who already know the author. Another thing I didn't like is the topic itself. While I don't mind people talking about their families the fact of the matter is I didn't know the family so I didn't care about what she had to say.
