Entry # 6 Pro Gun

It seems like after every mass shooting there is a huge movement to ban automatic weapons. On average the percentage of people killed by automatic weapons is around two percent. The other 98 percent is handguns and shotguns. If the argument to ban assault weapons is to protect the public then really you only stop 2 percent of gun related deaths. Other laws anti gun lawmakers want to introduce is limited clip sizes. Well that sounds great and all but if somebody intends to commit a murder do you really think they will listen to the clip ban? The second amendment was not created so that people could own a gun just for the heck of it. It was created to protect the people from tyranny by the government. News flash! Muskets wont do much of anything against anyone. People who argue this point say that such a thing will never happen in the US, to that I think Ben Shapiro says it best " The fact my ancestors didn't fear that is why their ashes now."
